Next Upcoming Colony West Condominium Board Meeting: Please join us for the next meeting February 18th @ 5:30PM. Owners are welcome to join us at 31 Colony West Drive Clubhouse Meeting Room. 


Next Upcoming Homeowners Association Board Meeting: Please join us for the the next meeting on February 18th @5:30PM. The Condominium meeting begins first, then the HOA meeting follows immediately afterwards. Owners are welcome to join us at 31 Colony West Drive Clubhouse Meeting Room. 


The Colony West HOA office will be CLOSED Monday January 19th, 2025 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.


Lawn Care and Snow Removal:

For Winter: Occasional lawncare throughout the late winter/early spring months. You may see them on campus taking care of some excessive leaf and stick litter.


The Colony West HOA contracts the snow removal and salt for the community's parking lots, sidewalks, and driveways after the accumulation of 3 inches of snow. Any owners requesting additional snow removal outside of the normal schedule will be responsible for payment of additional services.


The City of Champaign takes care of the snow and salt of Melrose Drive, Phoenix Drive, and Colony West Drive. If you have any complaints, please notify the Public Works Department, thank you! 


Garbage and Recycling Information: 


Recycling:

Recycling will be picked up every Tuesday and Friday for the Condominiums.

  • Please break down all recycling. Do not leave it outside of blue bins. 
  • This is a program through the city of the Champaign "Feed the Thing."


For Townhomes, Duplexes, and Individuals, Recycling will be picked up on Fridays.

  • Please place your Recycling in a separate container from your garbage.


Garbage Pick-Up:

For Condos: Every Tuesday and Friday garbage will be picked up.

  • Please do not obstruct the dumpster hutches in any manner.


For Townhomes, Duplexes, and Individuals: Every Friday garbage will be picked up.

  • Please make sure the garbage is at the curb by 6:00 AM. 
  • Please place all garbage in a tightly secured plastic tied bag.
  • If garbage is in a container, it can be put out the night before. 
  • Please return your garbage container out of sight from the street once garbage is picked up.

Update from City of Champaign Regarding Streetlight Repairs: 

The City of Champaign will review the proposal for new streetlights throughout our Colony West community. We will know more information after the City Council Meeting after January 6th. Thank you for your patience! 



​2025 Fall Yard Waste Collection: Ended December 8th! 


​Every other Monday from October 20th through December 8th, the City of Champaign will go around our  neighborhood to collect yard waste debris. For the community's convenience, there is an area dedicated to Yard Waste located to the left side of the Clubhouse Shed. This is for Colony West Residents ONLY. Violators will be prosecuted. Please adhere to the city's ordinance regarding Yard Waste material collection. Failure to follow the city's ordinances may result in fines for our residents. Thank  you!
